A LoRa network, which demonstrates the architecture of a basic LoRa deployment including nodes, gateways, and the network server. An application server was put into use to collect readings from a remote weather station (deployed as a node). This data is then processed to make it viable for visualizations and insight collection. Apart from this, the data is also used to study RSSI and SNR values for LoRa. The research has been published in a peer-reviewed, national journal.
Implementation of GFS capabilities, including concurrent reads/writes and inconsistency handling. It is a proprietary distributed file system developed by Google to provide efficient, reliable access to data using large clusters of commodity hardware.
Low-interaction honeypot built using Paramiko. The honeypot is an emulated SSH shell, which is used to log interactions with attackers. It listens to SSH sessions, logs activity, and gathers intelligence on attacks.
A martini glass storyboard that will initially focus on demonstrating how different properties of a star helps predict its future. The dataset used - HYG Database contains information like the Cartesian Coordinates and corresponding Constellations, of ~120K stars in the universe. This is used to gather insights into their current lifecycle stage and future stages.
Presented Health Monitor for Plants Based on RGB Values at Recent Innovations in Science and Engineering Conference, 2017. Implemented projects Handwritten Digit Prediction and OTT Recommendation as part of courses among others. Also developed Image Rendering Optimization and Health Monitor as part of internships. Hobby projects like E-commerce Platform, Attendance Management System, Phishing Detection System, Web Activity Tracker, Twitter Sentiment Analysis, and Personal Portfolio.
As a Software Engineer, I was at the helm of automation and innovation efforts on the network front. I am continually engaged with my customers to help optimize their networks. A core part of this is risk analysis and proactive health checks to ensure that the customer's networks don't run into unforeseen scenarios.
My customers comprise of a mixed bag - Akamai, AXA, Swift, Etisalat, and DU. In that capacity, I am a part of diverse teams located all over the world.
I am also involved in efforts to develop internal tools. TOP using Angular and Django used by customers and engineers to track project delivery. BRAIN Tool using Python, HTML, and JS to optimize backlog data.
My keen interest in security has fostered a sense of voracious reading and learning and I continue to explore this field.
TED and TEDx videos are a vast and exhaustive treasure trove of real-world knowledge. I was drawn to the essence of the TED community - A platform where people with different journeys, stories, and experiences get together to inspire people possessing different perceptions, beliefs, and inspirations.
Being a speaker curator entails identifying homegrown talents and ideas that bring about a shift in perspective. These local talents are unable to find their voice due to a myriad of reasons. As the speaker curator, I got to break them free from the shackles and barriers that society has set. In the process, I had the opportunity to interact with diverse people from various walks of life, imbibe their ideas, brainstorm with them to make their delivery best fit the theme of the event, and help drive home their idea.
Stepping up as the licensee and lead organizer the next year demanded communicating with TED Officials whilst leading a young team of volunteers. Putting out fires, resolving issues, and coordinating various aspects of the event prepared me to take on a leadership role.
Offering services and products in the areas of Avionics, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and Real-Time Embedded Systems, Accord has carved itself a niche in this domain.
For an interim of three months, I was engaged with Accord in ideating and developing a system to support communications within the development team, combining the functionality of Stack Overflow and Github.
Alongside this, I worked on enhancing the antialiasing algorithm for the clean transition of the images produced by the GPS unit developed by Accord.
IEEE PESIT-BSC Student Branch provides an environment to foster learning and developing real-world skills. It is devoted to its aim of instilling a scientific temperament in the student community whilst contributing towards the greater good of the global engineering community.
In my tenure as EXECOM, I worked on innovating ways to bridge the gap between industry and technical education. I also closely worked with other IEEE region leads to curate events for students all over India. Representing the college at IEEE events on a regional level was a great privilege.
I was a key organizer for "Kalpana", an event for women empowerment in tech. A hackathon for women, Kalpana was a roaring success and saw a successful second iteration as well. As a team, we organized workshops, industry visits, debates, quizzes, hackathons, and other events as well.
Cooey is a provider of remote patient care solutions that are designed for a value-based care system. Their AI-based remote patient care solutions transforms Telehealth and remote patient care capabilities for healthcare providers.
At Cooey, I worked in an Agile framework to build customer dashboards for remote healthcare solutions using Angular and Java.
